On October 5, we celebrate International Teachers’ Day, a day that draws attention to the outstanding role educators play in shaping young generations. Since many schools treat this day as a free day or a flexibly scheduled program day, it’s the perfect opportunity for homeroom teachers, primary school teachers and educators to swap the usual lessons for a shared adventure day with their students. The truth is, few things energize a class like trading the classroom for the forest canopy — and we’re happy to provide the location, the program, and the team to run it.

Why Adrenalin Park?

Over the past 12 years, Adrenalin Park has become one of the region’s favorite destinations for school groups from Cluj County and neighboring counties — whether kindergarteners, primary school pupils, high schoolers or university students. In the middle of the Faget Forest, we offer an experience that simply can’t be recreated within classroom walls. On our 18 adventure courses of varying difficulty levels, built among the trees, and on our zip lines, students get to know the forest from a whole new perspective: from above, moving branch to branch, overcoming their own fears and limits. The easier obstacles build motor coordination and courage, while the more demanding ones develop problem-solving skills and perseverance — so every student, regardless of age or fitness level, finds a suitable challenge.

Before students begin the adventure courses, our instructors teach them:

– the rules for completing the obstacle courses and zip lines,

– basic safety techniques (how to use a self-locking carabiner and a pulley),

– why constant communication with teachers and classmates on the adventure course matters,

– interesting facts about how the courses were built,

– and the basics of environmental protection and responsible outdoor recreation.

These programs are especially valuable for teachers because they get to see their students from a completely different side than in the classroom: a shy child can become a hero while conquering the heights, while a more restless, energetic student may find their place in coordinating the team.

What does a program package include?

A day spent with us can be put together in various ways from the following main elements:

– completing the adventure courses and zip lines,

– team-building stations — including “Jacob’s Ladder,” the “Spider Web,” “Human Bowling,” “Escape from Alcatraz,” archery, crate stacking and the artificial climbing wall — which strengthen communication, cooperation and team spirit,

– a shared meal on our outdoor terrace (traditional dishes, pizza, burgers, pasta, salads, as well as refreshments and ice cream from the café),

– relaxing in the hammocks,

– and a short walk along a nature trail, where students can discover the forest, the valley of the Casele Micești, and a stretch of the Faget forest near Feleacu: for those who haven’t yet walked the Natura 2000 nature trail marked with the white frog symbol, we recommend starting there, while experienced hikers and returning guests can try our newly opened trail marked with the blue bird symbol!

On request, the program can be extended with a short, playful presentation on how Adrenalin Park operates as an environmentally conscious business: the tree-friendly suspension solutions we use, the organically designed chalet that blends into the landscape, and how water is recycled on-site at the adventure park — optionally wrapped up with a short quiz.

We know that organizing a school trip involves paperwork too — that’s why our team helps with preparing the necessary documents, personalized quotes, contracts and invoices, whether payment is made from a Treasury account or a commercial bank account. Communication is available in Romanian, Hungarian and English.

Accompanying teachers receive a special discount and free admission, and our group discounts are as follows:

– 10% discount for groups over 15 people

– 15% discount for groups over 50 people

– 20% discount for groups over 100 people
